The Legend of the Easter Bunny and the Easter Egg Hunt

The idea of the Easter bunny bringing eggs was a tradition first brought to the United States by early German settlers during the the 1700s, many of whom settled in Pennsylvania. Over many years, the Easter bunny has become the most accepted symbol of Easter around the world.

The Legend of the Easter Bunny and the Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter bunny, also called the Easter hare or spring bunny, brings baskets filled with colored eggs, candy, and sometimes toys to the homes of children on the night before Easter, the same way Santa Claus delivered presents during Christmas Eve. The Easter Bunny will either put the baskets in a designated place or hide them somewhere in the house or garden for the children to find when they wake up in the morning, giving rise to the tradition of the Easter egg hunt. With Easter being a day of celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, the legend of the Easter bunny and Easter egg hunt did not come from the Bible.

Rainbow Room Learning Center would like to wish everybody a Happy and colorfully fun Easter.

The potential benefits of what Taekwondo training can do for your kids are quite massive. One of the benefits of doing this form of martial art is physical fitness. Due to its physicality and movements, it simply becomes a great way to achieve physical fitness.

Another benefit of Taekwondo would be increased concentration span. Because it involves many forms and striking, one is taught to thoroughly concentrate on either performing the right forms or not getting hit by the other practitioner during sparring.

The best benefit however is increasing a child’s self-confidence as knowing how to defend one’s self from harm’s way is a great to gain higher self-esteem.

Taekwondo is a part of Rainbow Room’s summer programs. Enrolling your kids in this program is a great way of making their summer vacation colourfully fun.

Rainbow Room brings 21st Century Learning!

Last 4th of February 2017, Rainbow Room Learning Center held a seminar on 21st century learning. The event was attended by parents from all three Rainbow Room campuses. The speaker for the event was the Directress of Bridges School Pampanga, Teacher Myn Tinio. She has been an advocate of progressivism in her teaching experience both here and abroad.

The seminar focused on ways to prepare children for jobs that are currently unthinkable or non-existent at the moment. With the use of 21st century lifelong skills, kids are more equipped to handle the challenges the future has to offer them.
The skills needed to make learning relevant for children are in the form of seven “Cs” – critical thinking, creativity, cross-cultural understanding, communication, computing and career & learning self-reliance.

Make your child 21st century ready by enrolling them at Rainbow Room Learning Center, where learning is COLORFULLY fun!

To find out more about the 7Cs, please tune in every Tuesday for Rainbow Room’s Colorful Parenting articles and make your parenting experience colorfully fun.”

Rainbow Weekend

One of the best feelings in the world is the anticipation of the coming weekend. For parents, it is an opportunity for them to catch up on their sleep or attend to their favorite past time. For the children, it is a time to play with their favorite toys and watch their favorite cartoons.

The weekend also serves as time for both parents and child to happily mingle and catch up on the week that just elapsed. The question is what activities that can make great moments?

For this weekend, Rainbow Room suggests that you can go on a picnic with your family!

Eating food in a backyard or at a local park is a great way for parents and children to make for an exciting picnic. Since it is an outdoor setting, the dining can be followed by fun games and happy conversations.

Parents and children, pack your favorite meals in a picnic basket and go to a serene venue! Roll out the blankets, lie down and make a memorable quality time out of this picnic!

Happy weekend RR families! Make the weekend COLORFULLY FUN!
